The Hoosier Harvest Council feels it is important for Indiana consumers to have ready access to high quality, locally grown farm products and that the close relationship of farmer and consumer can help provide for both.
The purpose of the Hoosier Harvest Council is to expand the local economy for agricultural producers and consumers in Indiana through education, training, public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures, and networking for producers, consumers, and points of sales such as, but not limited to, farm-direct marketing, farmers markets, community supported agriculture.
